Pythago requests read-and-write access through Google's official OAuth flow. We never see or store your Google password, and you can revoke the connection at any time.
The permission we ask for, in plain language: one Google Ads scope that lets us view and manage your Google Ads campaigns (adwords), plus your basic Google profile — your name and email address — so we know which account connected. Google does not offer a read-only version of the Ads scope, which is why the same permission covers both.
What we read: your campaigns, ad groups, asset groups, products and daily performance — impressions, clicks, cost and conversion value.
What we can change: we can pause campaigns, and we can exclude a product — or a single variant — from asset groups within your Google Ads campaigns. We do not change your budgets or your bids. Automated actions are off by default and configured per campaign, so nothing changes without a rule you set up yourself.
What we read and write: orders, products, markets and publications.
What we cannot do: edit your storefront, change your listings, contact your customers, or issue refunds.
Disconnect from your Pythago settings at any time. You can also revoke directly from your Google Account permissions page or your Shopify apps page — you do not need us to do it for you.
